A robber in Norwich tried to hold up a mecca bingo hall by threatening a woman at knife point. A man in a balaclava broke into the back of the mecca bingo hall and grabbed the woman. he then proceeded to look for cash.

The robber continued searching until he bumped into Lee Marrison, a cleaner working at the bingo Hall. whilst still threatening the woman, Marrison refused to follow orders by the robber and chased him out of the bingo hall.

The robber got away on the back of a motorcycle which was being driven by a get away driver. although the robber got away, police have arrested a twenty five year old man in connection with the attempted robbery.

The poor girl held at knife point is believed to be recovering from the traumatic experience and we at bingo dabbers would like to commend Lee Marrison on his bravery in standing up to the scumbag who tried robbing one of our sacred bingo halls.
